Special Guest: Éric van der Vlist, creator of the XMLfr community
in France.
On August 4th 2003, Espace Courbe invited XML professionals in
Montreal to a friendly cocktail meeting. Éric van der Vlist, world-famous
XML specialist, offered to share his experience in developing the most dynamic
IT community in France.

About Éric van der Vlist
Éric
van der Vlist is an independent XML consultant, developer
and writer. He leads the Dyomedea company
in Paris. He wrote authoritative books like "XML
schema" (O'Reilly publisher) and leads the french-speaking XMLfr community
which he founded back in March 2000. He is a contributing editor to XML.com and xmlhack.
He maintains serveral OpenSource software projects like Examplotron.
He is an editor for the ISO DSDL specification
and for the RSS standard.

in Web technology transfer. Apart from design and programming services, Espace
Courbe also offers
a broad-range of training programmes on all topics linked to the creation
