Université de Montréal - Canada Research Chair on Built Heritage

CSSGraphisme

Canada Research Chair on Built Heritage's website is a showcase for a group of rechearchers where members are mainly attached to the school of architecture at Université de Montréal. The site is bilingual: French, English. It features lists and member profiles for researchers and students, pages describing the various research projects and activities of the Chair. To allow easy maintenance of the content, automatic relations between content elements, and promotion of content on various pages, an open source content management system has been used. A custom content class is used for the members and the students, thus allowing to automatically build various lists and profile pages. The audacity in this project resides in the graphic design which features different facets of built heritage as page backgrounds throughout the site. Artistic direction has been done by Lenka Vernex. Site is now archived since the Chair holder retired.
