Héritage Montréal: CRM and Web profileHéritage Montréal had various scattered databases to manage their memberships, donations and event registration. Espace Courbe's mandate with its partner Solutions Metrix, was to unify the technological architecture by setting up a customer relationship management system (CRM) adapted to the business
needs encountered by a cultural organisation like Héritage Montréal. A set of customized modules to the CRM software have been developed and the resulting system, called Sophia, allows them to manage their memberships, donations, data for volunteers, activities and registration in a seamless fashion. Those are all business problems common to many cultural organizations such as museums, historical societies, interpretation centers, etc. A Web interface has been set up to let the corporate Web site
communicate with Sophia. Héritage Montréal's contacts can from now on renew their membership, register to activities, make a donation, register to newsletters, all that through their profile page on the corporate Website. All transactions are directly saved in the CRM for further processing and use. The system is also able to manage multiple languages and adapts to the linguistic preferences of the contact.
